If you're not already on a recurring plan, the best way to schedule service in advance is to book online, but if you need more urgent servicing, we recommend calling in for availability. Each coat of wax usually dries in about 20-60 minutes. After the final coat, the floor may be ready for light foot traffic in a few hours, but it's best to allow 12-24 hours for it to fully cure before resuming heavy traffic or moving furniture back.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We ask for 24-48 hours' notice for cancellations and rescheduling to allow time to adjust schedules and potentially fill the vacant time slot.
Do I need to move anything before you come?
As much as possible yes, the area needs to be clear for us to do the work effectively. We can discuss furniture moving options when we provide your quote; some clients handle it, or we can include it in the service.
How do I continue to care for my VCT floors?
Daily sweeping or dust mopping is key. For cleaning, use a damp mop with a neutral pH cleaner recommended for waxed floors. Using entrance mats and promptly cleaning spills will also help extend the life and look of the finish.
