You're invited: our Community Blood Drive on August 31
We’re hosting a Community Blood Drive on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at our shop at 290 NW 26th St #9 in Owatonna, in partnership with Memorial Blood Centers. It’s free, there’s no need to sign up in advance to come by, and you’re welcome whether you’re donating or just stopping in for lunch.
This is more than a blood drive. It’s an afternoon to meet your neighbors, support a cause that matters, and spend a little time with family and friends.
Give blood with Memorial Blood Centers
Memorial Blood Centers will have their mobile donation bus parked on-site for the full afternoon, so you can donate right here at the shop.
If you’ve never given before, this is an easy first time. The bus is staffed by their team, everything happens on board, and we’ll have food and a chair waiting for you when you’re done.
Lunch is on us
We’re grilling, and there’s no charge for any of it.
Stop by hungry. We’ll have:
- Grilled burgers and hot dogs, while supplies last
- Refreshments and snacks
You don’t have to donate to eat. If you’re only here for a burger and a chat, that’s genuinely fine with us.
Something for the kids
There’s a family activity area set up for the afternoon, so this works as a family stop rather than a quick errand.
The kids’ area includes:
- A coloring station
- Yard games
- Outdoor activities for all ages
Community Appreciation Giveaway
Local businesses around Owatonna donated prizes for a Community Appreciation Giveaway, and everyone who attends is welcome to enter, whether you donate blood or not.
Those businesses stepped up without being asked twice, and we want to make sure people know who they are. Throughout August we’ll be recognizing each of our Community Sponsors on our Facebook page.
What to bring, and where to park
Bring yourself, and bring people. That’s really it.
A short list:
- Family and friends
- A lawn chair, if you’d like to sit and stay awhile
Free parking is available on-site.
Why we’re doing this
We started Andrew’s Pro Clean in 2024, and this town gave a brand-new, family-owned business a warm welcome we didn’t take for granted. Hosting the blood drive is one way to give something back to the people who made that possible.
If you’ve been to the shop before, it’s the same place we clean and dry area rugs that customers drop off. On August 31 it’s a parking lot with a grill, a donation bus, and hopefully a lot of neighbors in it.
Questions about the event? Send us a message or call (507) 508-8894. We’d love to see you there.
One community. One purpose. Together, we can save lives.
